The Threshold Birth Support

Calm, continuous birth support — held with presence, steadiness and deep emotional attunement.

Birth is a threshold — not only a physical event, but an experience that can shape how you move into motherhood.

Whether you are preparing for your first birth or returning to this threshold again, you deserve to feel informed, supported and steady within yourself as it unfolds.

You might be carrying a lot into this experience.

Excitement, uncertainty, fear, hope — sometimes all at once.

Perhaps you’ve had experiences where you didn’t feel fully heard.
Perhaps you’re holding questions you don’t yet have answers to.
Perhaps you simply want to feel more prepared, more grounded, and more connected to yourself as you move towards birth.

Wherever you are, you do not have to navigate this threshold alone.

What Birth Support
Can Feel Like

Birth support can feel like having someone beside you who is fully present — steady, calm and attuned to you.

Someone who understands when to speak, when to advocate, when to offer reassurance, and when to simply remain close.

Someone who can notice what is happening beneath the surface and respond in a way that helps you stay connected to yourself, even as things shift.

This support is practical, emotional and relational. It helps you understand your choices, prepare for what may unfold, communicate more clearly when decisions arise, and feel less alone in the moments that ask the most of you.

In moments that feel uncertain, you are supported.

In moments that feel powerful, you are witnessed.

This is not about directing your birth. It is about supporting you to move through it feeling grounded, informed and held in a way that allows you to remain connected to yourself throughout the experience.

What It’s Like to Work Together

A considered beginning

We begin with an enquiry and, where appropriate, a 30-minute private introduction call.

This gives us space to meet, speak briefly about where you are, and sense whether this is the right support for you.

Support shaped around you

Once support is booked, we begin to shape the work around your circumstances, preferences, birth setting, partner, hopes and concerns.

There is no single way this needs to look. The support is personal, practical and responsive to the experience you are preparing for.

Steady presence throughout

As your birth approaches and unfolds, I am there as a calm, continuous presence — offering guidance, reassurance and emotional steadiness you can rely on.

My role is not to direct your birth, but to support you in finding your own way through it with clarity, confidence and support beside you.

What’s Included in The Threshold

Thoughtful preparation, together

We begin before your birth with space to explore your preferences, your concerns, and what matters most to you — so you feel informed, steady, and supported as you approach this experience.

From the point of booking, I am available to you — offering guidance, reassurance, and a space to ask questions as they arise.

Continuous, on-call support

From 38 weeks, I am on-call for you — ready to be there when your birth begins, offering calm, consistent support throughout.

Presence at your birth

Wherever and however your birth unfolds, I am there — offering emotional, practical and physical support, so you feel accompanied within the experience.

Support as you begin the early days

In the hours and days after birth, support continues — offering space to rest, process and begin finding your rhythm with your baby.

I come to you at home in the early weeks, creating space for whatever feels most needed in that moment — whether that’s support with feeding, understanding your baby’s cues, or gently making sense of your birth experience.

These early days can feel tender and unfamiliar, and you’re not expected to navigate them alone.

This includes two in-home postnatal visits, with continued support available between them — so that you feel supported as you begin to settle into this new rhythm.
Some families choose to extend this support further, creating a more continuous arc of care in the weeks that follow.

This May Be For You If…

You want to feel emotionally supported, not only informed.

You value calm presence, clear communication and care that adapts to you.

You are seeking birth support that feels personal, considered and deeply attuned.

You want your partner to feel supported too, rather than expected to hold everything alone.

You are carrying questions, fears or previous experiences that you do not want to navigate in isolation.

You want to feel accompanied through birth and into the first days that follow.

You are open to being supported physically, practically and emotionally as you move through this threshold.

Investment & Working Together

Investment for The Threshold is £5,000.

This is private, deeply personalised support across pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period — shaped around you, your circumstances and the kind of steadiness you want to feel as you move through this threshold.

I work with a limited number of families so that each client receives the depth of presence, attention and continuity this work asks for.

If you are considering this level of support, you are welcome to begin with an enquiry. Once your enquiry arrives, I will read it with care and, where appropriate, invite you to a 30-minute private introduction call.

If you are not yet sure whether ongoing birth support is the right next step, a Clarity Session offers a focused standalone space to explore your questions, birth preferences, options and next steps before making any decisions.

If you are considering private birth support for this threshold, you are welcome to begin with an enquiry.

Share a little about where you are, your estimated due date, and what feels important for me to know at this stage. I will read your enquiry with care and reply personally.

If there is space around your due date, the next step is a 30-minute private introduction call. This gives us time to meet, speak briefly about your circumstances, and understand whether this is the right support for you.

You do not need to arrive with everything already decided. It is enough to begin with where you are.
