Calm, continuous support
for your birth — held with presence, and deep emotional attunement.
Birth is a threshold — not just a physical event, but an experience that shapes how you move into motherhood.
Whether you’re preparing for your first birth or navigating this chapter again, you deserve to feel informed, supported, and steady within yourself as it unfolds.
You might be carrying a lot into this experience.
Excitement, uncertainty, fear, hope — sometimes all at once.
Perhaps you’ve had experiences where you didn’t feel fully heard.
Perhaps you’re holding questions you don’t yet have answers to.
Perhaps you simply want to feel more steady,
more prepared, more yourself as you move towards birth.
Wherever you are, you don’t have to navigate this alone.
What Birth Support
Can Feel Like
It can feel like having someone beside you who is fully present —
steady, calm, and attuned to you.
Someone who understands when to speak, and when to simply hold space.
Someone who can recognise what’s happening beneath the surface —
and respond in a way that keeps you feeling steady, even as things shift.
Who helps you feel informed in your choices,
while also supporting you to stay connected to your body and your instincts.
In moments that feel uncertain, you are not left to navigate them alone.
In moments that feel powerful, you are witnessed and supported within them.
This is not about directing your birth; it’s about supporting you to move through it feeling grounded, held, and supported in a way that allows you to stay connected to yourself throughout the experience.
What It’s Like to Work Together
A gentle beginning
There’s no pressure here, just an opportunity to explore whether this feels like the right support for you.
Support shaped around you
There isn’t a single way this needs to look. Everything is tailored to you, your preferences, and your experience.
Steady presence throughout
My role is not to direct your birth, but to support you in finding your own way through it — with clarity, confidence, and support beside you.
What’s Included in The Threshold
Thoughtful preparation, together
From the point of booking, I am available to you — offering guidance, reassurance, and a space to ask questions as they arise.
Continuous, on-call support
Presence at your birth
Support as you begin the early days
I come to you at home in the early weeks, creating space for whatever feels most needed in that moment — whether that’s support with feeding, understanding your baby’s cues, or gently making sense of your birth experience.
These early days can feel tender and unfamiliar, and you’re not expected to navigate them alone.
This includes two in-home postnatal visits, with continued support available between them — so that you feel supported as you begin to settle into this new rhythm.
This May Be For You If…
You value presence, steadiness, and care that adapts to you.
You’re seeking something more than standard support — something that feels personal, considered, and deeply attuned.
You want to feel held within your experience, not left to navigate it alone.
You’re open to being supported not just physically, but emotionally as you move through birth and begin the early days that follow.
Investment & Working Together
I work with a limited number of families so that each person receives the time, presence, and care they deserve.
If you’re looking for support that holds you emotionally, practically, and with genuine attention to who you are, we can explore what working together could look like for you.
If you’re not yet sure what kind of support you need, you’re also welcome to begin with a Clarity Session — a focused space to explore what would feel right before making any decisions.
