The Inner Room

A calm, private space to explore what’s present —
and feel more like yourself again.

Therapeutic support for pregnancy, postpartum, loss, and the emotional thresholds that shape your experience.

Trauma-informed, emotionally attuned care — offered online across the UK and internationally where possible.

A steady, considered space to be met with warmth and clarity.
You may be carrying more than feels easy to hold right now.

Uncertainty. Fear. Past experiences that still feel present. Or simply a sense that something does not feel as steady as you would like it to.

You do not need to have the right words.

And you do not need to have it fully understood before you reach out.

This is a space where what is present can be met with care, clarity and without judgement.

A Space to Explore and Make Sense

This work offers a calm, structured space to explore what you are carrying, at a pace that feels appropriate for you.

It draws on a blend of therapeutic approaches including hypnotherapy, parts work, guided imagery and trauma-informed practice — shaped around what you bring and what feels right for the work.

Together, we work to understand your internal experience more clearly, including the parts that feel contradictory, unclear or difficult to name.

This is focused, intentional work designed to create real change, not only insight.

There is no pressure to revisit anything before you are ready. You can begin where you are.

What I Currently Work With

This work may be supportive for:

  • anxiety in pregnancy and postpartum
  • tokophobia — fear of childbirth
  • fertility journeys and the emotional complexity, grief and uncertainty they can bring
  • birth briefing and debriefing — making sense of a birth experience, whether difficult, confusing or simply something that needs space to land
  • birth or medical trauma
  • general perinatal emotional support, including overwhelm, identity shifts and the invisible weight of this season
  • pregnancy after loss
  • low mood or emotional heaviness during pregnancy or postpartum
  • fear of labour, pain or loss of control
  • feeling disconnected from pregnancy or uncertain about parenthood
  • grief, whether open or quiet
  • feeling unseen, dismissed or misunderstood in your care
  • carrying a high emotional load while appearing “high-functioning”
  • the impact of past sexual or relational trauma on your sense of safety, control or trust
The TBR 3-Step Rewind is coming soon. This is a gentle, structured process for supporting the nervous system to process overwhelming or distressing memories, including difficult birth experiences. If this is something you are specifically looking for, please mention it when you reach out and I will let you know the current availability.

How This Work Can Support You

Over time, clients often notice a shift in how they respond — not because everything changes, but because they are no longer carrying it in the same way.

What once felt overwhelming can begin to feel easier to meet, as though something inside finally has room to breathe.

They experience:

  • a calmer nervous system
  • more internal spaciousness
  • a gentler relationship with difficult emotions
  • clarity in emotionally complex moments
  • grounding during periods of anxiety or overwhelm
  • renewed trust in your body and instincts
  • deeper compassion for yourself
  • relief from carrying everything alone
  • a stronger sense of internal support

This work also supports a deeper understanding of yourself — and of the patterns, responses and inner dynamics that shape your experience.

Over time, this can become integrated, allowing you to move through your life with greater awareness, steadiness and internal support.

This work does not take your experience away, but it can change how it lives within you — and how you move forward with it.

The Tone of This Space

In this space, nothing about your experience needs to be made neat before it is welcome.

There is no expectation to be positive, hopeful or composed.

You can bring fear, numbness, grief, anger, overwhelm, heartbreak, exhaustion or longing.

My role is not to fix, analyse or evaluate you, but to meet you with warmth, steadiness and clarity — and gently guide you towards a deeper understanding of what is present.

What Makes This Work Different

The Inner Room offers focused perinatal therapeutic support that is relational, grounded and emotionally attuned.

It is not a scripted process or a generic wellbeing session. The work is shaped by careful listening, therapeutic skill, an understanding of the nervous system, and respect for the complexity of your experience.

It is paced with care, so that nothing feels rushed or overwhelming, while still allowing for meaningful movement.

It is spacious and considered — designed for depth rather than volume — and shaped around you.

This is not about ongoing dependency. It is about creating meaningful movement, at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

For some, this is where their work begins before deciding what kind of support they may need around birth or postnatal life.

For others, it becomes a space they return to alongside or after other support.

A steady companion for the thresholds within you.

How We Begin

If you feel drawn to this work, you are welcome to begin with an enquiry.

Therapeutic enquiries begin in writing. You do not need to share your whole story before you feel ready. A few thoughtful details are enough to begin, and I will reply personally with the most appropriate next step.

That next step may be an initial therapeutic session, a short suitability call if something needs clarifying first, or another form of support if your needs sit outside my current scope of practice.

If you are not yet sure what kind of support you need, a Clarity Session may be a helpful place to begin. This is a paid standalone session for exploring something specific, making sense of what feels unresolved, or understanding what kind of support may feel most useful now.

A Clarity Session is £225 for 90 minutes. For some people, one session is enough. For others, it becomes a helpful beginning before deeper support.

Therapeutic support is available as individual 60- or 90-minute sessions, depending on the nature of the work. Sessions are £165 for 60 minutes or £225 for 90 minutes.

Sessions take place online, allowing this work to be held with privacy and continuity. If you are based outside the UK, you are welcome to enquire and I will let you know whether support is possible for your location and circumstances.

I work with a limited number of therapeutic clients at any one time, so that each person receives the depth of attention this work asks for.

I offer perinatal therapeutic support as part of my advanced diploma training with The Birth Republic, working under clinical supervision and within my current professional scope.

If you have any questions about whether this is the right kind of support for what you are carrying, you are warmly welcome to ask.
